Everything you need for the weekend. Jac is the AI-native programming language from Jaseci Labs, and Jac Hammer lets teams host their apps for free on the sandbox. Read the docs before kickoff so you can start building as soon as hacking begins at 5:00 PM EAT.
Tools and Technologies- Jac: an AI-native programming language from Jaseci Labs. At least 80% of your code must be Jac.
- Jaseci: the Jaseci Labs ecosystem around Jac. Judges look for excellent use of both Jac and Jaseci.
- Jac Hammer: lets teams host their apps, free on the sandbox. Deploying here is encouraged so judges can try your project.
- GitHub: your project lives in a GitHub repo, which is checked against the 80% Jac rule.
- Discord: the official server for check-in and technical support.
Not sure what to build? The judges reward depth of agentic behaviour, impact and novelty, so pick a problem where an AI agent can plan, decide and act. A few starting points (none are required):
- A study assistant that plans revision and adapts as you learn
- An agent that triages and routes requests, such as support tickets
- A research helper that gathers, compares and summarises sources
- A coordinator that breaks a team's goal into tasks and follows them up
- A tool that fixes a real problem you see around you, in your community or a local business
Keep the scope small enough to finish. Aim for a single flow that works end to end, and leave time on Saturday afternoon to record your demo video.
